TutorLucid exists to bridge that gap. We built an AI tutor that is endlessly patient, pedagogically sound, and adaptive to each child's unique learning profile. When a student asks for help, we don't hand them the answer — we ask the right question to help them discover it themselves.
And because parents are crucial to the learning journey, we give them visibility into their child's progress with actionable insights — without hovering or micromanaging.

2024: The Idea
Watching parents struggle with homework help — either giving away answers or creating conflict — we saw an opportunity to use AI differently. Not as a shortcut, but as a Socratic learning partner.

2024: Building the Foundation
We assembled a team of educators, AI engineers, and parents to build TutorLucid from scratch. Every feature was designed with input from real families and grounded in learning science.

TutorLucid launched with six subjects, 37+ tracked skills, adaptive practice, writing coaching, and the parent dashboard that families loved from day one.
